Honey Badger Kaiju
A giant armored honey badger, standing in Tokyo Bay, entirely unbothered.
It started as a joke request: a honey badger destroying Tokyo. The first render came back with the badger swimming. Thirty-two renders later it stands up, wears armor, and has exactly two hands.

The process
27 minutes, cut to 27 seconds
A sped-up screen recording of the render session, ending on the finished poster.
The drafts
Everything the model returned
Thirty-two renders in four rounds, exactly as generated. Some have three hands. The Japanese on the posters is invented by the model and does not say anything. Click any image to enlarge.
Round 1 · Cinematic · 4 renders
The brief said wading. The badger heard swimming.
Round 2 · Cinematic, again · 8 renders
Tokyo Tower and Skytree added, black bars gone. The collapsed bridge span never showed up.
Round 3 · Three poster styles · 12 renders
Vintage paper, ukiyo-e print, bold vector. Standing up this time.
How it was made
FLUX.1 schnell running locally in ComfyUI on a single NVIDIA GPU, four steps per image. The twelve poster drafts rendered in under two minutes. Prompts, cropping, the title boxes and this page were directed with Claude; the 27-minute screen recording was cut down to the video above.
