Black Cat Ramen & Sushi
One black cat. Ramen with chopsticks, ramen without, and sushi. Nine posters.
I asked an AI for a cat eating ramen. It took six rounds. Early on the cat sat inside the bowl, the chopsticks came as one stick or three, and the kittens were far too cute. The keepers are all one black cat, sitting behind the table, with exactly two chopsticks or none.

The same cat in three print styles. Click any poster to enlarge. The big Japanese lettering is real type added afterwards, not AI: ラーメン is ramen and 黒猫 (kuroneko) is black cat.

Ramen, no chopsticks
猫舌 (nekojita, literally “cat tongue”) is the Japanese word for someone who cannot handle hot food. These cats slurp straight from the bowl anyway.

How it was made
FLUX.1 schnell running locally in ComfyUI on a single NVIDIA GPU: 1024 by 1280 pixels, four steps per image. More than a hundred renders over six rounds, then the best of each kind was chosen by hand. Claude wrote the prompts and built the poster layout, with the Japanese lettering typeset as real text. The model also invents its own kanji in the corners, so those were painted out. Print size is 18 by 24 inches.

A black cat with a solid black body, big round pale yellow eyes with black pupils, long white whiskers, a red collar with a small gold bell, sitting upright behind a wooden table, one front paw holds a pair of chopsticks, exactly two thin wooden sticks side by side, lifting a bundle of noodles from the ramen bowl up toward its mouth, the other front paw rests on the table. The ramen bowl sits on the table in front of the cat, separate from the cat's body, with a halved soft-boiled egg, nori and a pink and white naruto fish cake. Colorful ukiyo-e woodblock illustration, Great Wave style navy and teal wave patterns on the bowl, a red sun disc, one cherry blossom branch, crisp ink outlines, cream paper background, simple uncluttered background.
